Ascoril flu may be given for 5 days in total. Nasal drops maybe uncomfortable at the time of administration. But it causes relief rapidly from nasal congestion. And has absolutely no side effects when compared to other nasal drops (which have some side effects if given for a prolonged period). Hence administered to even newborn babies. Once the nose is clear, the baby will be comfortable again.
