Hello and most welcome to lybrate, regarding your concern about your son having polyp, I would like to say that generally polyps with severe clinical symptoms like breathing problems, pressure symptoms with facial deformity, we should ideally go for surgery, but in small polyps I usually try with steroids like long course mometasone spray. Regarding your son, as he has breathing difficulty, first you have to get a ct pns done and he might need surgery. I sincerely wish him an early recovery and a healthy life ahead.
