The risk of miscarriage is small. if you want to know the figure, if 100 women like you (who had previous miscarriage) and now become pregnant, 80 won't have any problem. there is 20% risk of miscarriage but once the heart beat is seen in ultrasound, the risk decreases to 5%. You can take progesterone which decreaeses the risk of miscarriage. Continue folic acid.

Hi. Congratulations! firstly, relax and stay positive. It is not necessary that the previous miscarriage will affect this pregnancy. Schedule an appointment with your local gynaecologist for blood tests and ultrasound for pregnancy. Continue with the folic acid supplementation. Avoid papaya, pineapple, don't lift any heavy weights and no relations with husband. All the best!

20 percent of women miscarry in first pregnancy. One miscarriage is nothing to worry about. Howver if u have 2 consecutive miscarriages then we need to investigate. For now, you need to keep taking folic acid. No other specific advice needed.
