Yes, you should start medicine for prostate and continue it. If your problem persists then get your urine r/m and c/s test done and inform.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. If investigation shows BPH is under control then you may stop the tablet. But best person to consult is the doctor who prescribed that medication. Secondly please check your blood glucose levels also.(Fasting & PP) as increased glucose can cause increased frequency. Thanks.

Kindly continue same drug for life long.

Dear rangarajan, if your ruinary problem was previously under good control with tamlosetd (tamsulosin and dutasteride) and if your problem has recurred after stopping, you can restart the medication and see if you are much better. If things do not improve in a month's time you need to consult a urologist

Enlarged prostate does not 'shrink' away with tamlocept. It only helps in easing passage of urine. Stopping it will most likely lead to symptom recurrence, as has occured in your case. Consult urologist. Get at least uroflometry and uss kubp done before restarting medicine.
