Sir my mother is a ckd patient today she has fever and cold. She takes dolo 650. My question is that is she takes dolo 650 with cetrizine tablet jointly?

Although more details are required reg. Ckd and every so called safe medicine also has to be given after careful consideration. In normal adult both may be given together. Cetrizine is normally excreted in kidney. Depending on functional capacity of renal system expressed in egfr dosage and use of cetrizine is decided. Better to get it clarified from your nephrologist.

1.kidney is an organ that does not recover as well as other oragns like liver. 2.so, for a ckd patient any renal insult ,be it caused by a single dose ,kidney damage can unfortunately be permanent and is better to consult a mephrologist 3.better to use locally acting nozyfine nasal drops /steam inhalation with clear breath capsule for cold. Paracetamol is generally considered safe compared to other nsaids in ckd patients.
