I had amoebiasis before 10 days. I took cefixime and satranidazole for 2 days. From that day, I am having a problem of frequent urination and hypersensitivity of bladder. Yesterday I tested cbc esr, urine and stool routine. All reports are normal and not showing any infection. The urge for urination increases at night, when I go to sleep and it aggravates when I take legs towards stomach. Please guide and suggest medicines.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Following are my observations: 1)Treatment for amoebiasis can not be done in two days. Cefixime is not a drug for that condition.Minimum 7 to 10 days treatment is required. 2) Please get urine examined whether there is any infection, ask for routine and microscopy of urine. 3)Get fasting PP glucose and HbA1c% done. If there is urinary tract infection present then some other antibiotic needs to be taken. Plus checking for diabetes is very essential. Thanks.
