We got our son's (age 4) first annual checkup done and as part of vitamin d panel, his calcium and vit d came fine. Calcium 9.9 (8.8-10.8) and vitamin d 50 (30-100) but his phosphorus was slight high at 6.2 (range- 3.1-6.0). He has been taking vitamin d sachets also. Last month he took one sachet per week and this month one. He has been taking these sachets on and off for the last few months. He was also taking meconerv syrup, atoz syrup and feronia xt for the last few months. Because these were recommended by a pediatrician but no tests were done then to check for deficiencies. He eats a lot of yogurt but takes very little milk.

Stop vit d syrup. Don't take it without consultation as it has side effects too. Oral iron syrup only can be given after checking complete blood count.
