Hey I had hemorrhoids surgery done and after couple months of pain i've been diagnosed with minor fistula and had another minor surgery, i'm still healing but I got hemorrhoids again shall I apply proctosedyl on the affected area? Recommend me something please!

Hey. Sorry to hear about your problem. I think you should consult a colo rectal surgeon immediately for proper and systematic treatment of your issue. Because, only application of ointment is not going to help you to get cured from fistula. Till that time ,you can sit in warm water (sitz bath) which will give you abit of relief. Thanks.

Hello user. Mostly these a secondary haemorhoid. Yes you can apply the proctosidyl ointment. Along with it, may I suggest a sitz bath with betadine solution and a stool softener like duphalac and drink water about 3.5 litres minimum per day and have a high fibre diet. Hope this was helpful.
