My 9 years old son was diagnosed with ibd crohn's disease in 2018. Doctors give him steroids (prednisone) for short time and humira (biologic drug) regularly. While he is on prednisone he has no symptoms. But when doctor take him off prednisone his symptoms come back after 2 months. Doctors don't give him any antibiotics or other drugs. His symptoms include dairy, fever, low appetite, blood in the stools etc. Are there any different treatment in india for ibd?

As of now, humira and steroids are the best medicines for this problem in india. Rest of the things can be decided on case to case basis after seeing and assessing the patient.
