Hi, my wife got aborted recently. And her scan reports suggests that, gestational age is 11 weeks, uterus antivertated, single intrauterine gestational sac seen with irregular contour, fetal pole not seen, gestational sac measurements as 2.93 cm, cervix appear normal and os closed, both ovaries and adnexa normal. And, they have mentioned in her report as an impression of early pregnancy failure. And, she likes to know the reason of her abortion and she is totally disturbed of this situation. And, during her 1st trimester she did not have any medical issues. We consulted in hospital on her 11th week of pregnancy alone. Kindly someone help us in this regards.

If only one such incidence - it is common and in most no cause can be detected. It is one of nature's way to get rid of abnormal pregnancies. If 2 or more such incidences lot of reports required after consulting gynecologist.
