Hi doc. I am 20 years old. I have serious ringworm disease in my body. I have taken terbinafine and griseofulvin for 1 month and applying luliconazole, clobetasol propionate together in the affected area. First it recovers but again it comes back. There is a say that I can?t eat prawn, hilsha fish, brinjal, lady?s finger, eggs. Is it right? Does these food causes ringworm to come back?

Good afternoon. Clobetasol should not be used for ringworm. Your treatment needs to be amended. Kindly consult a qualified dermatologist either in person or via online consultation. Ringworm is not related to any particular food. Have a well balanced diet. Avoid wearing wet clothes and while on treatment avoid sharing clothes and wash your clothes separately. Wear cotton clothing and avoid tight clothes and synthetic material.
