I am 25 and unmarried and suffering from pcod problem .i loose 8 kg .last 2-4 months I am suffering from severe pain in my periods time .so I consulted my gyno she told me that I am suffering from endometriosis and there is mild fullness in my right kidney .she told me that to complete three month course of medicine and she prescribed novelon tab otherwise surgery is last option. I want to know to that is it safe or not and there is any complications?

Dear lybrate-user, yes you may take novelon although there are other drugs specially targeting endometriosis. No, surgery is not your only option. Considering your age since you are young and unmarried, I personally would not like to do surgery in you rather there are certain injections that have shown to be successful in most cases. Take care.
