My mother recently suffered from a seizure. She has been admitted in icu. Her doctor is of the opinion that she is suffering from hepatic encephalopathy. Her ammonia levels are higher than normal level. What treatment should be provided so that she recover positively.

Hepatic encephalopathy is really a serious disease. You have to check blood ammonia, gaba etc etcc. Patient usually sleep at day and remains awake at nighttime. There are many many signs and symptoms which are typical. But I need to check those reports before starting any medicine.
