I am 55 years, female, 70 kgs,158 cm, taking medicines regularly for hypothyroid. No other major issues.(hysterectomy done at 45 years). I have very dry skin. I have a skin infection troubling me for the last 2 years. Initially it was painful boils, which is not happening now. This later started affecting larger areas of skin of course, without the boils. There was itching, discoloration on all folds including in the thigh area, between the legs, behind the ears, in the navel area, in the folds in the bottom portion of my stomach now it is affecting my scalp and I am loosing hair. My eyelashes also seem to have dandruff like powder. I had itraconazole caps200 mg for 15 days, then after a gap of 30 days, another 15 tablets. After another 30 days, I had another 15 tablets now I have been applying a cream surfaz sn for quite some time, which gives me very temporary relief. Please advise.
