I have cervicitis I been to doctor and he prescribed me regimen azithromycin+doxycycline +metronidazole and two probiotics one by vagina and one by mouth. My question is how I get infected? I had?t sex for 5-6 months and after that I got married and I had sex with my husband. Right after that I start getting symptoms like pelvic pain, vaginal discharge, itching around vagina. After marriage one time after sex I had vaginal swelling for two days. My husband is saying he had?t sex with anybody since two years. Pls let me know should I ask him to go for std test? Waiting for reply.
