Hello Dr. I am pcos patient and my period is irregular. Last month I take crina ncr for 5 days and then my period happened on 28 aug. On 7th day of my period i.e 3 sep I did unprotected sex .my Dr. prescribed me to take yamini tablet for pcos treatment from 5th day of my period but I forget to take it and then take it from 7th day of period regularly. Is there any chance of getting pregnant?

Hello lybrate-user. Since you had sex on 7th day of period, the chances of pregnancy are very very minute. But still, according to protocol, if you start yasmin pill after 5th day of menses, you should use another method of contraception for a week (since you had unprotected sex, it's better you take ipill to be very sure).

The chance is very small. Howver if you do miss your periods, it’s smart to get a pregnancy test just to be safe.
