A month ago, I was unable to smell any kind of odour. The doctor prescribed me a nasal drop which I used for someday. Now, my smell is back. But, from someday (from 2-3 weeks, I was getting a very bad petroleum like taste in my mouth whenever I was eating something and sometimes I get vomit like taste, and because of that taste I didn't want to eat food. 1 week ago, the doctor prescribed me medicines with antibiotic tablets as I had fever. From then, I didn't get that petroleum like taste in my mouth but a strange vomit like taste still persists whenever I eat food. Please tell me why I am having this strange taste. I can't eat food with this taste. Is it any type of infection or anything else? Do I need any medication? Did antibiotic tablets helped me to get rid of petroleum taste?
