Hi Nivedita Milk production is related to hormone called oxytocin It’s released in mother only when she regularly feeds her baby, touches the baby to her nipples every 2-3 hours including 2-3 night feeds. Avoid top feed that decreases milk production. You have to feed baby every 2-3 hrs or on demand in day plus 2-3 night feeds. If ur baby is gaining weight, sleeps after feed, is urinating 2-3 times a day and passing stools, it means baby is getting enough feed.
