I am 59 years of age. For the 2 years I am taking half tablet of telma 20. I was told to take one tablet but since my blood pressure was not very high I took only half to reduce the side effects. Is this fine or I should take one tablet. I take it after lunch.

Taking half tablet is alright if your blood pressure remains normal.

Greetings, considering your age I would advice to keep chacking your blood pressure. Any signs of high blood pressure like headache from the nape of the neck, dizziness, dimmed vision shall need an immediate intervention. Sometimes a raised bp might nit show much signs ,so it is better to have a bp monitoring apparatus at home. Also it is essential to know whether the medications are working or not. Also according ti the data given your bmi is also high so I would advice you do a complete lipid profile and consult a doctor. Take care.
