I am 35 years old female. Bp 100/60 mm of hg. Cbc count impression: decreased in count with normocytic normochromic rbcs seen. Wbcs-count normal with increase in eosinophil seen. Platelets-appear adequate. Parasites-no blood parasites. Final impression- normocytic normochromic anaemia. Eosinophilia. Rbc count 3.64 millions/cmm hemoglobin 10. 4g/dl hematocrit 31.6% in differential count, everything is normal except eosinophil 8.50% no sugar. Urea serum level low 10. 3 mg/dl against normal range 13-43 mg/dl. Serum creatinine normal 0.65 mg/dl. Serum uric acid normal 3.1 mg/dl serum total bilirubin low 0.29 mg/dl against normal range 0.3-1.2 mg/dl serum sgot (ast) normal 28 u/l serum sgpt (alt) higher 35.7 u/l against normal range -up to 33 u/l alp normal 70 iu/l a/g ratio total proteins 7g/dl albumin 4.5g/dl globulin 2.5g/dl a/g ratio 1.8 tsh 3rd generation (hs tsh) 5.310 against normal range 0.35-5.50 ultra sonography of liver, gall bladder, pancreas,spleen and kidneys normal. Is any treatment required for normocytic normochromic anaemia and eosinophilia? Or shall I change my dietary habits?
