My daughter born on 5 october 2020. Doctor told at 10: 30 am that the baby has pooped in the womb we can't go for normal surgery is the last option. They did my caesarean at 5 pm. After 4 hours of my daughter's birth doctor told that she can't breathe and hence shifted to nicu. Now after 7 days the doctor has prescribed antifungal medicine and a syrup brozeet ls. The problem is doctor is not telling what has happened to my daughter. Please help me. What has happened to her and how she will be cured.

Baby after passing motion could have aspirated the motion, this can cause severe breathing problem in the baby. Motion in the lung can increase pressure in the lungs and further increase breathing problem. So , Doctors put the baby on ventilator and advanced machines to reduce the pressure and help baby to recover. These babies are prone for infections, we start antibiotics and anti fungals to safeguard from infection. Do not worry. Trust your doctor. Have patience. The recovery is very slow process.
