Sir I have a 5 months old baby girl. Her weight is 5 kg. She is vomiting since 1 and half months. 10-12 times per day and the vomit looks like curds. She is not taking mother's milk and feeding on supplementary source (dexolac). We have visited an allopathy doctor and was advised to change dexolac to any other supplement and to make it more dilute saying she is unable to digest that powder and some medications. We have changed the powder to nanpro1. But th3ere is no improvement. please suggest.

Check if baby has blocked nose, if yes put saline nasal drops and clean nostrils Avoid bottle feed if doing, have patience baby will take breastfeeding Burping for some time after every feeding will help

Hi lybrate-user, weight of your child is not good. Wt was the birth weight? You should do sonography of abdomen to rule out qny pathology and barium study to rule out gerd. Blood investigations if requires. Consult online if requires.
