Sir I have a 5 months old baby girl. Her weight is 5 kg. She is vomiting since 1 and half months. 10-12 times per day and the vomit looks like curds. She is not taking mother's milk and feeding on supplementary source (dexolac). We have visited an allopathy doctor and was advised to change dexolac to any other supplement and to make it more dilute saying she is unable to digest that powder and some medications. We have changed the powder to nanpro1. But th3ere is no improvement. please suggest.

Hi lybrate-user, I understand your worries. More detailed history required. Babies double their weight by 5 months, so what was your baby's weight at birth. Do not dilute the formula milk, it is not good for the baby. Burp the baby for at least 10-15 minutes after feed. Keep her erect after the feed. Consult online if symptoms persists.
