As I had cough during night time I have started predmet 16 mg. One year ago I had same condition so doctor had prescribed me to take it for 5 day predmet 16 mg. I have started again same dosage, can it be stopped after 5 days or should it be reduced and stopped. Kindly help with this.

Firstly never take steroids over the counter without consulting a physician. Its better to get evaluated by a doctor because steroids have a lot of sode effects. The dose too is determined based on the current weight. Nonetheless you can stop it after 5 days.
