I am a 20 years old female. I have pcod. 6 months ago I stopped taking krimson and started taking supplements like inositol, d-chiro inositol, folate, vitamin d, etc and followed a gluten-free, sugarfree, dairy-free diet with flaxseed, pumpkin seeds and green tea to get back my natural periods. In the initial months, I had predictable, healthy cycles of 32 days. Only in august I noticed that vaginal discharge was constantly stringy, slippery (ewcm) and it didn't dry up so I thought it might have been an anovulatory cycle. Then next 2 months followed well and my discharge indicated that I was ovulating (32 day cycles, the discharge until 15th day was slippery watery and stringy and then it would decrease and get thick and white). This month the discharge was unpredictable and instead of periods, I had spotting and bloody discharge for 7 days. Why is there no flow? What could be the reason behind this? I'd appreciate a proper explanation in the answers.

Please get an ultrasound done to confirm the status of endometrium etc. You may need some blood tests also to rule out thyroid problem etc. And also to rule out infection if any. It may be something other than pcod also.

Pcod causes male hormone excess and irregular cycles. You need usg examination to confirm ovulation. If there is no periods for 45 days to one month, you can have excessive bleeding also. You have to meet a gynecologist to pursue further investigations. But it can be easily corrected.
