I had negative pregnancy test 5 weeks after sex, but no period. Doctor advised me to take medroxyprogesterone acetate twice for 5 days. By 3rd day, I started spotting, and after completing the tablets for 5 days, I got a light period along with mild cramps. I was bleeding just enough to fill one big pad but it was not heavy like I usually have in my regular periods. Does a light period after these tablets rule out pregnancy? Or can I still be pregnant?
