Your problem of anal fissure can be completely cured without surgery by graded kshar karma treatment. In this treatment; specialized ayurvedic medicine namely graded kshar is applied in fissure region. Graded kshar debrides the fissure and helps in healing. Usually fissure heals completely in 3-5 graded kshar karma sittings. This is an opd treatment. No hospitalization or bed rest is required in this treatment. In the meantime you should start taking sitz bath (hot water tub bath) followed by application of some soothing ointment or coconut oil in naal region 2-4 times daily. Take some stool softening medicine like haritaki powder. For further support; you may call reception at sushruta ano rectal institute.

Fissure is basically a minor cut/abrasion in the area due to passage of hard stools, with hot sitz bath, stool softener and laxative, and any soothing ointment creams relieve the symptoms & you are cured but it can recurr due to bad dietary habbits once it's relieved just focus on not getting constipated again and again. If it recurrs again & again then it turns in chronic fissures which do need anal dilatation for anal stenosis. So eat high fibre diet and salads and you will be cured.

Hello. Fissure is not a threatening condition but it's very very painful. The dictum is if by proper treatment it heals by three weeks then you are cured, but if not then it needs surgery. I will suggest you following treatment. If by the end of three weeks it doesn't heal then you better consult a general surgeon. 1. Avoid red meat and spices 2. Take lots of fluids, vegetables and fruits. 3. Exercise 4. Do sits baths (hot water tub baths) thrice s day 5. Apply anaheal cream thrice a day 6. Tab lyser d twice a day for 5 days 7.
