Hi Lybrate user, usually infants tend to get fussy with loose motions and they refuse to eat and drink. But one needs to differentiate this usual thing from dehydration which could also present with refusal to feed. If you feel that your child is also lethargic, drowsy, having dry sinking eyes please show a pediatrician as soon as possible. So also if the loose motions have stickiness, greenish or blood stained stools. But if you feel that your child is only fussy, may be try some new wholesome fluids, like buttermilk, kanji water or fresh juices as per the liking of your baby. Facilitate/ encourage your child to have fluids/ normal family meal as much as you can. It will pass with time. Do not worry, but do be cautious.
