I am taking feburic 20 for my high uric acid level which is 8. Some one has advised me to take berberis pantercon homeo medicine along with feburic. Can I take allopathic and homeopathic medicine together for my high uric acid level?

Try to cotrol uric acid with low purine diet.Youruric acid is not that high to use medicine if you dont have symptomatic gout or renal stones.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Tablet Febuxostat will definitely help in reducing uric acid. However, what effect the so called homeo medicine has is difficult to say. Taking it along with Febuxostat is no problem at all. Because most those (homeo)medications are like a placebo. I am sure you are also aware that there is a need to reduce purine(a type of protein) containing foods like certain fishes, red meat, organ meat, sweetened aerated drinks like cola and alcohol too as these will increase uric acid production in the body. Thanks.
