Greetings! my father's age is 60 years. And his recent bp reading was 120/60. Is it normal? He is feeling numbness in his legs and swollen feet. Current medications- telvas h, rabeprazole.

Hello, the blood pressure recording of your father is normal (though 60 mm hg diastolic is on low side). Telvas h is a combination of telmisartan and hydrochlorthiazide for hypertension. The swelling in the feet may be due to lying in the bed for long time, keep the legs on a pillow while lying, little elevated. It will become alright. If does not improve consult again.
