Greetings. I've been experiencing penile, rectum and lower abdominal pain for almost two months now. During the period I was first given biotech ciprofloxacin 500 the pain became better during the tablets but gone back to its normal state after the medication is finished. Then I was given ciprogen 500 mg and the same thing happened. Then the last time I was given a single dose of azithromycin together with ciploxx 500 and today is day number 6 from the start of this treatment. The pain is mild but it sometimes becomes severe on the lower abdomen. Can you help me identify the cause and prescribe me some medication which will help.

We need additional information regarding that such as when does the pain occur? Is it after meals or after urination and defecation? Is is a dull pain or srarp pain? Do you have difficulty in urination and/or defecation? Are you suffering from constipation/diarrhoea? Do you have bleeding or discharge from penis or anus? It may be due to constipation or gastroenteritis and urinary tract infection. I would suggest a stool and urine examination and change antibiotics as bacteria have become more resistant to ciprofloxacin.
