My father aged 58 years was operated in 2015 for hydatid liver cyst which was 19 cm in length. Post surgery he recovered well. Today he was again diagnosed with a small hydatid liver cyst (3.23.8) cm. How serious is this? Can it be treated with medicines and without surgery?
