Is tranostat mf 500 has any effect on the problem of pcos? Can this tablet be taken for reducing prolonged period for pcod and fibroid issues? Does it completely stopped period for the month if it will be taken 4 times in a day?

Hi lybrate-user tranostat mf is a combination mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid. It helps to control the bleeding whether it is due to pcos or fibroid. And no it does not completely stop the period or it does not postpone the period. It is only helpful to reduce the amount of bleeding in cases of heavy bleeding. In case you are suffering from heavy menstrual flow, I would suggest that you use it not more than three times a day, and for a maximum of (4-5) days, not more than that.
