I have taken mifegest kit on 17th and started bleeding on 18th. Then got an usg on 26th which said "small retained products seen" and had zitotec 200 medicine. But till today 31 january it is bleeding. Is it normal? Is my abortion completed? How am I supposed to stop the bleeding?

Hello lybrate-user if your bleeding is still persisting, it is likely that your expulsion is not yet complete and you still have retained products. The bleeding will only stop once all the products are expelled. Further course of management will depend on the size of retained products in your uterus. If the bleeding does not stop in a (3-4) days you will need a repeat ultrasound and a per vaginal examination for further advise and management accordingly.
