I am a 57-year-old male. I have a dull, achy pain at the back of my head along with some mild weaknesses in other parts of my body (namely my right leg). I had serious anxiety issues about 6 and a half years ago and my doctor recommended me a drug named tianeptine. I took 37.5 g of it for about 15 days after which I started to reduce it and finally withdraw it in about a month. But after reading online about the drug, I found out that it causes long-term effects and is not even approved in some countries. What are the chances that it is responsible for my headache condition today? How much can it deteriorate the health of any of my body parts today? Which body parts can be affected? Has research been conducted on this matter? Have I made a big mistake to take a drug before researching it?
