Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Usually when Hello, Thanks for the query. I am sure aware that in a well controlled diabetes patient FBG should be just about 100 mg or a bit more, PP should be 150 to 170 mg& HbA1c% closer to 6.5%. That means there is a need to achieve much stricter glucose control. Usually if fasting glucose goes above 140 mg, then you should increase night dosage of Insulin by 2 units and if post lunch level goes above 180 mg or so increase the dosage by 2 units. Similarly if FBG is <110 mg, then reduce the night dose by 2 units and similarly PP levels is about 140 mg then too reduce the dosage by 2 units .The reduction or increase in dosage of Insulin should be done with a gap of 3 to 4 days.
