Hi doc I am suffering from hypocalcemia I am taking calcium (shel cal ct) and vitamin d (remylin d 1000iu) tablets.also I have been advised for daily exposure to sunlight in the morning but I wake up at 1 p.m. As I work in the evening shift (7p. M. To 3a. M.)so will afternoon sunlight exposure is good enough for raising my vitamin d levels?

Dear user, vit d is usually at its peak in the morning upto 11 am and later on only the uv increases. This is why sunlight exposure from 7 am- 11 am is the best. There is little more exposure after that but the. The time is in the morning.
