Dear lybrate-user, not more than 6 cycles of clomid are usually prescribed and yes you may switch to letrozole but don't self medicate. You must do it under observation and with proper consultation as there are associated risks such is ovarian hyper stimulation and side effects on the lining of uterus. I specialise in infertility and pcos management and I would suggest that other causes of infertility should be ruled out as pcos may be a contributing factor but not the only factor.
