Had un protected intercourse (pull ou5) on feb 27. My last period was on feb 16. On march 5th, observed very light spotting. Just a very few drops with sticky discharge. Should I be worried about the spotting? Do I need to take any contraception? If so, when should I start the dosage? Can I use regestrone tablet?

Dear a, you had intercourse on unsafe day when the chances of getting pregnant are high. Pull out has a failure rate of 27%. Spotting can be a sign of implantation. If that has occurred, further contraception will not help. Regestrone is not an abortifacient so it won't help either. Ask her to take urine pregnancy test. The earliest report can be observed on day 21 that is tomorrow. You may also get serum bhcg blood test done which gives report at earliest even before urine pregnancy test. Accordingly take further consultation.
