Hello sir my husband had a problem of seizure from may 2019 navi mumbai we are getting treatment and all. Of sudden he got seizure back in 2 december 2020 and getting proper medicine torleva xr 500 mg twice a day and he got today's morning again seizure but without tongue bite and he was conscious that time. Why it happened don't know. Plzz guide. He is 29 yrs. All.reports are normal. Mri cbc eeg everything done and all were normal. He is getting proper mean and sleep. No stress.

Dear user, a seizure can occur due to a trigger which can be even as small as flashing lights, loud sounds, certain temperature stimuli and even certain foods. Sometimes stress or worry can cause a seizure. You have to track his movements right before the seizure to identify what caused it and make sure the the trigger does not happen again. Dear lybrate-user, your husband is suffering from epilepsy with generalised tonic clonic seizures and this is inspite torleva he is taking. The dose of torleva can be increased to a maximum of 3.0 gm /day, depending upon the weight of your husband. I feel ths dosage of medicine needs to be increased straightaway and could have decided how much to give if I knew his weight. However this is the best solution for your husband.
