When I consulted a doctor he asked me to take full body checkup my urine analysis showed infection and my creatinine levels were 1.4 I was prescribed amoxicillin and potassium clavunate 625 tests after a few days showed my creatinine levels were 1 what should I do now? Why did my creatinine levels raise? Note:i had covid five months back and I have been putting on weight.

Plz mention your age and other medical history. Bcoz raised creatinine should alert to underlying silent kidney problem.

Get a usg done for kidney status. Cr 1.4 is not that bad, but sometimes when you are dehydrated it may come on the higher side. I would suggest to do a repeat kft and blood sugars after a week, monitor blood pressure, avoid excess salt and painkillers. Do a usg abdomen for kidney status. And if any of the above shows an abnormality, then consult a nephrologist. Regards.
