Hi, I am a kidney transplant patient. My current medicines are tacrograf 2 mg (1 - 0 - 1). Renodapt s (s180 - 0 - s360). Deflazacort (12 mg - 0 - 0) may tacrolimus trough level is 5.3 (last month) tac level ranged between 4 to 5.3 in 1.5 years of my transplant my creatinine is 1.4 (ranges 1.2 - 1.4) I need to change to some economical brand like ensure, zydus or intas for once for tacrolimus. Please advise I will not change regularly, I will change brand only once. Thanks.

You can change brand but this may lead to lower blood levels of tacrolimus and may cause rejection. So consult your transplant nephrologist and adjust dose as per tacrolimus levels. There after you can continue with that brand.
