Hi. I am 25 years old. My tsh is 3.32 and t4, t3 are normal .i am taking 25 mcg thyrox .still I am not losing weight and periods are still not clear. Will I increase my lt4?

Hello, thanks for the query. The tsh level mentioned is quite normal. There is really no need to increase the dosage further. Because increased dosge may lead to very low tsh and towards hyperthyroidism. As regards weight reduction, you will have make special efforts to reduce weight like regular exercise for over an hour a day plus taking a restricted diet that provides calories based on your ideal body weight which is 63 kgs. So total caloric intake has to be about 1260 or say 1200 calories a day. Please do contact a dietician have a plan designed for that diet and follow it. Thanks.
