Hi. Am 26 years old married 1st pregnancy I took clomid as I had pcod and bicornuate uterus. 12th week I started spotting and Dr. gave chromium injc for 3 weeks. Still m spotting. Am taking duphaston 10 mg too. Baby is absolutely fine. Why is it spotting?

Spotting can be due to various reasons in pregnancy. In your case, it is most probably due to low or faulty implantation of placenta. Even if baby is fine, you need to take utmost care. Take more of bedrest. Avoid heavy work or rather all housework till spotting stops. Avoid intercourse till delivery. Take the duphaston without fail and start iron and calcium.

Hello! if already a scan is done and all is fine the spotting could be from the other horn of the uterus. In bicornuate uterus pregnancy is in one horn and other is empty. At 12 th week due to change in hormone levels endometrial lining from other horn may bleed. Kindly make baby is fine by a scan before though.
