Hai. I was facing constipation for many years. So due to that I got nerve pain in my anal. Few months back I consulted a neurologist nearby. He prescribed gabantin 100 mg in the morning and night. My nerve pain is getting repaired but when I do certain exercises like walking, jogging, my nerve pain is getting started. So can I increase my dosage to 300 mg?

Your physician has prescribed 100 mg to see if you could tolerate the medication well. Gabapentin for neuropathic pain is usually started at a low dosage initially to make sure the patient tolerates it without any side effects like drowsiness, dizziness etc. Then the dose would be gradually increased to reach adequate pain management. Please consult your physician for advice regarding the increase in dosage.
