Respected sir/mam I want to know ear drop mention by one of doctor zanocin but any medicine for pain and ear discharge problem so that it will stop discharging my ear discharging from last 12-13 years whenever I got cold please tell me some antibiotics so that I get ride of this ear discharging problem I have hole in eardrum doctor prescribed me to go for a operation at the age of 18+ but I have not done anything yet but when I use ac or cooler my ear discharging some water out alway please suggest me some antibiotics now so I get ride of this problem and one ear drop which is best for me.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, if there is a hole in your ear drum, the only treatment is to close that hole by doing an operation. Any amount of antibiotics you take will only give you a short term relief. If you don't want to have surgery, then please take the utmost care not to get water into your ears and treat vigorously any episodes of cold that you get so you can minimize its impact on the ear. The best option for you is to discuss with a good ent surgeon your case and take his/ her advice.
