I'm 24 years old male, from a few days ome side of my neck is swollen and i'm having pain/ discomfort in swallowing and speaking. today I checked with torch in the mirror I saw white ulcer type scratches on my throat and back side of tongue. I was a daily smoker and have left ciggerete 10 days ago. I've started taking antibiotic azithromycin daily since 2 days back, thinking it might be swollen lymph nodes because of some bacterial infection. But now i'm a little worried about it.

Any addictions of any sort is always hazardous to health. Maintain good oral hygiene with brushing twice and using a good mouth wash. Continue and finish the course of the antibiotics.

Hi Lybrate user, without wasting further time go to nearest head and neck surgeon/ent surgeon. Get biopsy and imaging done. Do not predict and take medication on your own. The more you delay the more you loose.
