Hi I am 46 years old last year I had loose stool for nearly 1 month my doctor did endoscopy colonoscopy and reports were normal but my iron levels were very low and he put me on autrin and I am taking twice a day since 1 year and also taking shelcal once a day my question is is it okay to take it for soo long or do I have to stop for sometime and continue later. If your anemia has resolved then you will have to stop iron supplements. But if you are still anemic despite taking autrin for 1 year then the drug wasn't absorbed by your body.
