I'm 24 years old female. I am having lot of hair fall. My scalp is itchy and it feels as if there is build up on my scalp. When I scratch my hair, I feel small grain like particles. My scalp has some bumps / pimples too. lesions are itchy but not oozing, non tender. No excess oil application. No deficiency as such. Diffuse hairloss. I consulted many doctors but it didn't help. I used topical steroids, ketoconazole shampoo, multivitamins but nothing worked. It's been around 2 years now. My hair are thin and very less remaining. What should I do? I'll be really thankful.

Hii, here I would like to ask a few more questions to evaluate your condition and give proper treatment. What I understand from the history that you have excessive seborrhea/ dandruff. Antidandruff shampoos and tablets help but only if applied properly, and kept for 3-4 minutes on scalp. There are other remedies also in form of oral and topical medications. Resistant seborrhea/ dandruff along with diffuse hair loss can be associated with hormonal imbalance in females as well. One thing I can assure, that there's nothing much to worry and it will all be okay. Your problem at present seems reversible to me. The earlier you address it, better would be the outcome. So, for proper diagnosis and management I would need a few pictures and answer to a few more questions. It would be best if we can connect through this portal
