I am a 15-year-old female with pcos, my period has been irregular for a year now and it doesn't come unless I take a pill that is prescribed by a doctor, but its not birth control, i've been prescribed birth control by another doctor before but I refused to take it. I went to many doctors in the past they all prescribed pills that they said they're not birth control, one of them prescribed me duphaston, the question here is if I took the duphaston for the prescribed period of time then stopped, will my period also stop?
