Hii, ringworm or tinea is infection by dermatophytes (fungus) that tends to grow more in moisture prone areas of body. The condition is more exacerbated in summers. Clotrimazole is an antifungal, if it is definitely tinea, it should respond to this. If not responding, you can try other topical antifungals like luliconazole etc also, at times when the lesion is a bit large and since long, it needs oral antifungals alongwith antihistaminics.
